A nurse was raped by 3 men on the night of 21st October at Kaafu Atoll Gulhee island. According to the health ministry the female nurse who has been working in the Maldives for the past five years was raped in her house.The group broke into a house through a window and gang raped the nurse.The police are investigating the matter and has captured three suspects believed to be group who raped a female nurse.The victim told the police that she was sharing the house with a teacher who was sleeping next room when the incident happened. She told that the group has put a cloth in her face as soon as they entered the room and she was unconscious when they raped her.As soon as she got consciousness she reported to council and the council reported the matter to the police. The victim was later taken to the Male' the capital city and is undergoing medical treatment.
