The Maldives Police Services has claimed that they have begun investigations on the found human body near vaavu atoll Fotteyo.The body was found by a local boat while they were traveling near Fotteyo reef on Thursday afternoon.
Maldives police service has told that the found body was handcuffed and was charred beyond recognition and was a Male.
According to the Police, the body was badly decomposed, and may not be able to identify the victims.
The body is now kept in the government Morchery in capital Male and police getting ready for dna testing.
The police also stated that they have not recited any missing case from any part of the country, therefore the body is believed to be a one from a ship traveling near by.
