The body of a 60-year-old man was found washed up on the artificial beach in the capital, Malé, on Wednesday afternoon, after he was reported missing four days ago when he failed to return from an evening walk.Hassan Ibrahim of M.Amethyst was found at about 1.15pm by some young people at the beach, according to an individual who works nearby. The find was then reported to police.The dead man’s son, Adam Iyaz, said his family had searched across the island on Saturday after Hassan had still not returned after leaving for a walk at 8.30pm Friday evening.The family reported him missing to police on Saturday, his son said, and police media coordinator Sergeant Shiyam added a notice of his disappearance was aired on state broadcaster Television Maldives.Read More >>
