Police have caught the robbers and confiscated most of the stolen materials within less than 11 hours after the office of shippings private limited on the 5th floor of G. Fiyaathoshige was robbed.
Speaking at press briefing held yesterday at Police Headquarters, Head of General Investigation Unit, Inspector Ahmed Mohamed said that a huge sum of money and a lot of electronic equipments were stolen from the above mentioned place in the night of 9th of this month.
He said that the stolen items include laptops and laptop accessories.
According to Inspector Ahmed Mohamed, forensic evidence gathered from the scene and intelligence lead to the arrest of 3 robbers with the stolen items within less than 11 hours of the robbery. more....
