miadhuA 17 year old girl from Male’ has slashed her wrists and jumped in to the sea due to an incident that occurred at her home.
According to Maldives Police Services the incident occurred at last night and that the girl jumped in the sea after slashing her wrists near Hulhumale’ ferry terminal. She was immediately rescued by a police officer who was at the ferry terminal when she jumped in to the sea. She was immediately rushed to IGMH Hospital for treatment, according to Police.
