miadhuScuffles among an expatriate group in Seenu atoll Hulhu Meedhu has led to serious injuries to one and minor injuries to several others, Maldives Police Services reports.
All expatriates involved in the fight were Bangladeshis and those injured were treated at the Hulhu Meedhoo Health Center. Iron and wooden bars were used in the fight.
According to Police fighting was sparked off due to disputes between the groups. Police also said 4 Bangladeshis have been taken in to custody.
The case is also being further investigated by Hulhu Meedhoo Police Station and Addu Atoll Hithadhoo Police Station.
