Bank of Maldives employee caught trying to embezzle Rf50,000

An employee working for the Main Branch of the Bank of Maldives was caught while trying to embezzle Rf50,000 from the bank, last Thursday.

According to Haveeru sources one of the employees at the cash counter at the bank had reported the missing money and the Police had been called into investigate. The money was however found a short while after the Police began lifting fingerprints for their investigation. The money had been hidden and was revealed to have been concealed by the employee at the cash counter that had first reported the money as missing. more....
