Fire breaks out in house near Odeon

A fire broke out in a house located near Odeon, on Asurumaa Goalhi, early this morning around 10:00am.
According to reports, the name of the house that caught fire is Hudhuhudhaage, a two-storey building. Maldives National Defence Force personnel immediately responded to the emergency and several members of the public assisted in trying to extinguish the flames.
Reports say that there were some people sleeping on the ground floor of the house when the fire broke out, but had been rescued by some civilians broke who broke in through a window to reach the sleeping people.
