52 Accidents reported in the last week, Male’

Various types of traffic violations and accidents have been reported in the last week. 55 accidents cases were brought to the Police. Various types of traffic violations have been brought to the night court including one violation related to travelling while engaged in phone calls, three relating to travelling against a One-Way sign and five related to driving without a license.A total of 138 licenses have been confiscated by the Police in the last week for traffic violations. The cases of 38 persons have been sent to the Transport Ministry for further action.The cases of 14 persons have been sent to the Attorney General’s Office while 10 cases were sent to night court.
